As a Quality Assurance Supervisor for AE Concrete Products Inc., you will be responsible for all quality and environmental programs within AE Concrete; ensuring that we consistently produce quality precast products that meet the requirements and specification of customers, and regulatory bodies. This role will ensure our systems are effective and will proactively drive continuous process improvement to further improve our quality processes and procedures. Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and support the business related to quality certifications and environmental regulations.

  • Document Control: maintain and control all documents, policies, procedures, and forms & ensure records remain accurate and in compliance.
  • Supervise a team of Quality inspectors to execute material testing and process/product inspections.

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for in-process inspection of precast product, ready mix product and steel fabrication production. The Quality Control Technician must record, document and file information related to various specifications to include but not limited to PCI, ACI, PennDOT and AISC.

The Quality Control Technician reports to the Quality Control Manager and is responsible for all in-process inspections, documentation and confirmation that products adhere to the proper specifications and tolerances for the specific product type.  Will be expected to maintain a current knowledge of QC procedures and certification and assure a standard of quality is maintained at all times. Will be expected to review the work being conducted and determine it is being completed in the most productive and cost-effective manner. Will be expected to use sound judgment, diplomacy, discretion, self-drive and honesty in carrying out the functions of the job.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Participates in accurate project estimates and bid proposals, including detailed project takeoffs,
  • budgets and job costing.
  • Prepares construction contracts, subcontracts, change orders and purchase orders, & writes
  • RFIs, as necessary.
  • Demonstrates excellent computer skills, requiring in-depth knowledge and proficiency in

  • Demonstrates excellent computer skills, requiring in-depth knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Must understand Construction Safety Requirements and Compliance, and be a Safety Advocate for Bethlehem Construction, Inc.
  • Excellent communication skills with various parties including Management, Subcontractors, Consultants, Engineers, Architects, Vendors, and Clients.
  • Candidate must be well-spoken, professional, and polite. In addition, the successful candidate must be a good listener.
