MUST HAVE CONCRETE PRECAST EXPERIENCE.

This is a full-time road warrior role for a Senior Sales Representative at Architectural Precast Innovations. This position will focus on NY, NJ, MD business and will spend the majority of time on the road and the remainder of time in hybrid from your home. The Senior Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships, generating sales leads, preparing proposals, and negotiating contracts. They will collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure client needs are met efficiently and effectively.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develops a sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
  • Provides accurate sales information through updated flash reports, bid pipeline, bid calendar, and customer profiles.
  • Integral part of developing of action plan to penetrate new markets and/or products.
  • Responsible for maintaining and establishing an “outside” presence within the Precast, Construction and Architects sphere of influence.
  • Coordinate and manage the business unit sales budget process
  • Assist President/CEO and VP of Construction Management with special projects
  • Assures timely and accurate proposals are completed assuring all factors are calculated.
  • Reviews all letters of intent, purchase orders and contracts to ensure accuracy of dollar amounts, quantities and terms and conditions as outlined in our quote are correct.
  • Prioritize goals and objectives, enforce deadlines, and recommend and implement solutions for changes and improvements.
  • Integral part of the senior management team, responsible for preparing and contributing to the overall success of the business.

Education / Experience / Certifications:

  • Prior experience (5+ years) in sales/estimating of Precast Concrete required
  • Able to read and interpret design drawings, blueprints and engineering production drawings
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software, including Excel
  • Demonstrated verbal/written communication skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Proactive thinker, self motivated, self starter who is action oriented and results driven
  • Fosters a collaborative, team-based approach
  • Active in the community.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Prior experience (5+ years) in sales/estimating of Precast Concrete required

Sales and Business Development Manager implements sales strategies, tactics, and programs which result in bids for work and promotion of Metromont’s goods and services with Architects, Engineers, General Contractors and Owners.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To implement the Company’s sales strategies and tactics which will result in the achievement of the Company’s objectives, and goals in the following key result areas:
  • For assigned accounts, increase the number of jobs bid; specifically, from General Contracting firms
  • For assigned accounts, increase the number of General Contracting firms to which bids are submitted
  • For assigned accounts, increase the number of Architectural firms from which jobs are designed
  • Responsible for providing the Company with information regarding competitors and competing construction systems
  • Responsible for providing estimators with complete and accurate job information in anticipation of receiving accurate and complete estimates
  • Provides feedback on Metromont’s position regarding bids and status with the customer
  • Consults with General Managers in order to provide best information needed to establish competitive pricing at best margin

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a technical field such as Engineering or Construction Science
  • Must be able to read and interpret Structural and Architectural drawings for buildings
