The Precast Concrete Specialist will be responsible for managing and supporting existing precast business, managing key precast accounts, as well as developing and pursuing new business to grow our overall sales, profitability. This position also serves as our technical precast expert internally and externally to our customers and represents us in the precast industry.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Secure New Business – Develop and manage new opportunity pipeline, Develop strategies for specific opportunities, in conjunction with local teams, to win their business and lead these efforts, establish value propositions and prepare internal analysis to determine pricing, rebates, etc. Manage process through full conversion with local teams.             
  • Maintain and Support Existing Business - Manage existing accounts and help Technical Sales Rep stay engaged, Manage Key Accounts in segment, develop Account Plans, pricing, contracts, provide tech support (e.g. Technical Process Reviews). Develop and maintain relationships at executive and mid-level management (often done at industry organization meetings). Serve as secondary point-of-contact. 
  • Provide Technical Support and Activities (both existing and new business) – conduct field and products trials, develop mix designs, conduct Technical Process Reviews (TPRs), provide mix and overall production optimization, training, help customers in trouble shooting and solving technical problems such as out-of-spec issues (e.g. air and strength). Precast Concrete Specialists are expected to position Chryso/GCP as the leading innovate and knowledgeable chemical company in the precast industry via participation and contributions (e.g. making presentations, writing articles, conducting training sessions, working on committees, leading industry projects, groups, etc.)
  • Industry Engagement - Attend/exhibit/present at tradeshows to develop relationships and a pipeline of new customer opportunities, as well as reinforce relationships with existing customers and support the industry. Coreslab Structure (Atlanta) Inc. a leading international precast company is looking to fill a drafting position in our Jonesboro, Georgia facility. Emphasis will be placed on candidates with a positive attitude towards customer service as well as experience in the precast industry.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Produce precast shop drawings and detailed erection drawings using AutoCAD
  • Interpretation of contract specifications and drawings. Candidate must be able to read, understand and produce detailed accurate structural drawings
  • Project management of dynamic communication with contractors, clients, engineer, architects on a job specific basis
  • Develop total precast renderings for client presentations
  • Candidates with prior experience in drafting will be strongly considered

Education & Experience:

  • A minimum Associate's degree: Associates of Drafting ad Design Technology or similar degree, or equivalent professional and technical experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and construction related pressures
  • Computer familiarity with Microsoft Office, Outlook Email, Bluebeam Etc.
  • Full knowledge of AutoCAD,
  • Strong written and verbal communication and time management skills
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Understanding of precast process

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
