  1. Manages and maintains a team of Quality Control Technicians by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training team members and developing personal growth opportunities. Achieves team results through coaching, counseling, and disciplining team members. Develops team member work schedules. Plans, monitors, and appraises job results. Administers the company safety program in coordination with the Safety Officer.
  2. Oversees, supervises, and monitors the inspection and testing of raw materials, assemblies, bed preparation, concrete production and placement, and finished products to ensure adherence with established quality standards. Administers inspection protocols, sampling procedures, documentation, and the identification, reporting and remediation of deficiencies, all in strict compliance with PCI requirements.
  3. Maintains plant PCI certification eligibility through execution of the Quality Systems Manual (QSM). Conducts annual internal audit. Assures preparedness for unannounced, semi-annual, external audits conducted by PCI.
  4. Maintains proper operation of quality control testing equipment through monitoring, scheduling of necessary and/or required periodic calibrations, and procuring new or replacement equipment as appropriate. Trains technicians and operators of testing equipment on proper operation, care and maintenance to ensure the safe usage and maximum life of testing equipment.
  5. Manages all aspects of concrete mix design including preparation of samples, monitoring aggregate moistures and mix stability, verifying yields, making real-time batching adjustments, conducting pre-live production testing of mix designs, designing and/or qualification of new mix designs, and seeking the counsel of vendor partners for input and assistance as appropriate.

  • The production areas include both enclosed buildings and outside manufacturing facilities. The Company operates all production areas throughout the year.

As the QC Supervisor, you are a member of the plant leadership team. You are responsible for consistent delivery of high-quality products and services to our customers.
