Proj Overview

The biggest transformation yet for Wisconsin Veterans Home at King, with the addition of John R. Moses Hall, a new state-of-the-art 24-hour skilled nursing facility. Moses, a World War II Veteran who served as Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs for 23 years, was devoted to serving Veterans and was especially dedicated to the making sure that King was a place that veterans can be proud to call home. Moses Hall will be a fitting legacy.

The new 24-hour skilled nursing facility will have 192 beds within 16 households in a home-like setting, with private rooms and views of Rainbow Lake. Each household will house 12 residents with a shared kitchen, dining and living space to promote social interaction. It will also feature an outdoor living space and will be connected to the tunnel system.
