Proj Overview

Project Overview

The Denver Health Parking Garage, which supports 228,000 ft2 of parking area, is a substantial structure. An open interior was created with the use of spread walls supporting double-tees and K-frames, which resist the lateral loads. There were 927 pieces of architectural and structural precast products used in this site. The architectural concrete utilized was cast in thin brick, and the surrounding colored concrete was lightly acid-etched.

Precast Solution

With the openness of the interior, along with the well-designed lighting system, this parking structure has a secure environment for the enjoyment of its users. Precast concrete provided the versatility needed to transition the structure architecturally between the neighboring parking structure to the south and the medical and administrative buildings to the north.
