Proj Overview

Project Overview

The two deluxe apartment towers are located near museums, shopping centers, and restaurants and overlook the city’s largest park. The main project challenge was designing two apartment towers with a translucent concept using precast concrete. The result is a precast building without the heavy look of precast, with the windows integrated into the precast elements.

Precast Solution

The architectural precast concrete panels lightly underline the facade, hiding and framing the windows. Precast panels were necessary because of the facade’s unique shapes. Self-consolidating concrete was used in panel production, due to the vertical casting process, in order to avoid unleveled areas or size differences.
