Proj Overview

Removing classrooms and adapting spaces from an existing two-story prototypical design, Paris Elementary School was built on a tight site next to the original Paris school. An efficient floor plan provides flexibility and state of the art technology for 600 students. The exterior replicates the historical significance of a prior community landmark, using sophisticated pre-cast detailing such as intricate reveal patterns, multiple colors of cast-in thin brick, antique white cement with a sandblasted finish and an arched colonnade. Paris Elementary utilized a total of 36,900 SF of insulated precast wall panels. This school, located in Greenville, SC, was occupied in 2004.
