ACI/PCI 319-25- Code Requirements and Commentary

This free CEU webinar is available to PCI members and non-members.

One of PCI’s newest publications, jointly with ACI: Structural Precast Concrete - Code Requirements and Commentary (ACI/PCI CODE-319-25) Structural Precast Concrete - ACI 319 Code Requirements, provides minimum requirements for the materials, design, and detailing of structural precast concrete buildings and, where applicable, nonbuilding structures. This Code was developed using a consensus process, and it addresses plant-produced and site-produced structural precast concrete that contains nonprestressed reinforcement, pretensioned reinforcement, or both. Among the additional subjects covered are torsion design, dapped and notched end beam design, intermediate precast structural walls, and more.

This webinar will provide an introduction and overview of ACI/PCI CODE-319-25. The Design Standards Committee of the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute was instrumental in the development of code provisions and commentary for this Code. This is part one of this webinar series. Part one will review the history and background of ACI/PCI CODE-319-25, and part two will focus on the technical updates.
