By attending committee meetings, board meetings, Committee Days, and the Convention, participants find out first hand what the institute does and how much it means to its members.

Producer, Associate, and Professional members are invited to join Leadership PCI, an extraordinary opportunity for participants to accelerate their growth as high-potential employees. During this year long program, the focus of learning is Emotional Intelligence with a heavy emphasis on self-awareness, self-management, knowledge of human differences, quality listening, feedback, motivation, coaching for performance improvement, and change management. A unique feature of this program is work in values and  personal presence, including the writing and presentation of a values-purpose statement. Upon graduation, participants are expected to join at least one PCI committee.

Mandatory Events

Each participant must attend five events and are responsible for the following costs:

  • Kick off at the PCI Convention: all costs including event registration
  • Spring leadership boot camp: travel and lodging only
  • PCI Committee Days: all costs including event registration
  • Winter leadership boot camp: travel and lodging only
  • Graduation at the PCI convention: all costs including event registration

Candidate Requirements

Leadership PCI will accept nominations from all membership ranks and all areas of the precast industry. It is recommended that candidates have a minimum of three continuous years of employment within the industry and have exhibited job performance and other traits consistent with a high-potential employee.

Candidate Application

Any PCI member can nominate a candidate. Applications are due by September 1. Candidates are chosen based on potential provided in the submission and representation membership categories. All candidates are notified of the selection committee’s decision at least 60 days prior to the Convention. Apply Online Below (each candidate and sponsor must submit their application separately).

Program Fee

There is a program fee of $2,500 per participant. The program fee is billed after a nomination is approved and is due prior to the Convention kick-off event.

The participant is responsible for the program fee and all travel and lodging expenses to LPCI events. Certificates of completion are awarded only to those who complete all aspects of the program. If an event is missed, the participant will need to reapply for the next class (acceptance not guaranteed).
