Project Overview

Open Road BMW of Edison is the largest BMW dealership in New Jersey and among the largest in the country — a ground-up design-build project delivered by REDCOM Design & Construction with Tricarico Architecture and Design as design architect and architect of record. The facility houses showroom, service, and parts operations under a single roof.

Precast Solution

Fabcon supplied standard 8″ Versacore insulated precast wall panels for the building enclosure, finished in steel form broom. The system provided the long clear spans and rapid enclosure that automotive service and showroom buildings require, while the insulated core delivered the thermal envelope without a separate insulation trade. Steel form broom finish produces a consistent, refined surface texture well suited to a flagship dealership presenting a national brand standard.
