Proj Overview

West Chester University is one of the fastest growing colleges in the state of Pennsylvania. The school is not only growing in enrollment, but also academically. Over the past few years, West Chester University has been updating and constructing new buildings all over campus to serve their increased student population and to update technology on the campus.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor and Statistics projects a 23 percent growth in the number of biomedical jobs in the next several years and West Chester University is responding to this growth with new facilities. The addition of The Sciences and Engineering Center and The Commons, new buildings on campus, house the university’s first engineering major, biomedical engineering. The new parking structure on campus, one of four owned and operated by the university, will serve their growing academic programs and campus enrollment.
