Proj Overview

The Family Partnership is an innovative and impactful 141-year-old community-based organization that serves families in Minneapolis impacted by poverty and adverse circumstances. Over the last five years, demand for their programs has risen by 50 percent, leaving many families without crucial support.

The new 30,000 square foot addition will provide three times more space for programs. The renovation and addition will expand educational spaces for infants, toddlers and preschoolers with an indoor gym and outdoor playground and add convenient and flexible mental health and therapy services.

The vision for this project was to design a structure focused on the local neighborhood, community and the variety of ethnicities utilizing the organization. Wells and the design team created a custom prefabricated architectural wall system incorporating Graphic Concrete®. The Graphic Concrete® geometric designs were manipulated to create a variety of patterns. Wells is one of a handful of licensees in the United States providing Graphic Concrete®.

Wells manufactured and erected more than 14,000 square feet of architectural precast wall panels for the exterior façade of this building project.
