The Edge is an elevated student living experience, ideally located directly across from Iowa State University’s main entrance.  Precast was used for two levels of parking, as well as for the podium for one level of retail and five levels of two-, three- and four-bedroom units.

Project/Precast Scope

Mid-States provided hollowcore, beams, columns, wall panels and solid slabs for two levels of parking and podium.  We were able to create an opening with hollowcore on two levels to give easy access for the tower crane.  Construction took place through the winter months.
