OA25APD826PCI Online Academy: Advanced Prestressed DesignAugust 26 – October 7, 2025This course is specific to needs of the Precast / Prestressed Concrete industry. This course presents advanced design topics of precast/prestressed components based on information presented in Chapter 5 of the 8th Edition PCI Design Handbook. This course builds on the concepts introduced in the Basic Prestressed Concrete Design series offered by PCI earlier this year. This 6-part online series will present the background and details of provisions for design precast/prestressed components including torsion, dapped end design, ledge design, corbel design, design of compression members, and detailing of beam openings.8/26/2025OA25APD826Online Academy
25APCWKSHP2025 PCI Architectural Precast Production WorkshopOctober 14 – October 16, 2025REGISTRATION IS OPEN!  |  PCI’s Architectural Precast Concrete Committee will hold an Architectural Precast Production Workshop from October 14-16, 2025, in Sacramento, CA. The workshop will focus on architectural precast concrete forming techniques, featuring one day of classroom learning and networking, along with a half-day plant visit to Clark Pacific’s facility in Woodland, CA.10/14/202525APCWKSHPOnline Academy
OA25LL1105PCI Online Academy: Lateral LoadsNovember 5 – January 14, 2026This online academy covers wind and seismic loads for the design of lateral force resisting systems as well as diaphragms in precast concrete structures. It reviews the requirements for force determination and the detailing per ASCE 7 and ACI 318 codes. The impacts of these requirements will be examined for intermediate precast walls and special precast walls in an example structure throughout the lecture series. Diaphragm force determination following ASCE 7-16 will be presented, including simplifying assumptions for diaphragm behavior and force transfer within the diaphragm. This includes lateral forces that a structure undergoes and the associated free body diagrams of the system. Additionally, the series offers a review of lateral force resisting system components and their interrelationship to the building code and standards with respect to response modification factors, over strength factors, and deflection amplification factors. Attendees will learn how to calculate wind loads as well as seismic loads for low to high seismic applications, including classical equivalent lateral force procedure and dynamic analysis methods (e.g., response spectrum analysis), and comprehensive design and detailing of structural components.11/5/2025OA25LL1105Online Academy
MKGMS11252025 PCI Marketing and Sales School 2.0November 6 – November 7, 2025The PCI Marketing & Sales School 2.0 is a continuation of 1.0, with a focus on advanced applications of sales and marketing strategies and techniques. PCI Marketing & Sales School 2.0 will focus more heavily on group application exercises and interaction. Attendees will get to apply their knowledge in a team setting as they take charge of a company and forge its destiny. This school also provides an excellent networking opportunity with other industry professionals. This is a must attend event for those that attended 1.0 and are looking to advance their marketing and sales knowledge.11/6/2025MKGMS1125Online Academy
