This standard is an update to the existing PCI 128-19 adopted by the 2021 International Building Code. PCI 128-24 includes revisions for alternative cementitious materials and provides minimum requirements for the design, manufacture, and installation of glass-fiber-reinforced concrete (GFRC) panels, fabricated with or without panel frames, using the spray-up process or the premix process. PCI 128 includes requirements for GFRC panels manufactured using the premix process in controlled factory conditions, with primary emphasis on thin-walled alkali-resistant GFRC architectural cladding panels. The standard also covers fabricating GFRC panels using the spray-up process. This standard was developed through PCI’s ANSI-accredited consensus process.
