Proj Overview

The Mount Sinai South Nassau Long Beach Medical Arts Pavilion is a 15,400-square-foot, single-story facility designed to restore and enhance access to specialty healthcare services for residents of Long Beach and the surrounding barrier island communities. Developed in response to the loss of local medical infrastructure following Superstorm Sandy, the Pavilion offers a comprehensive range of services, including cardiology, gastroenterology, urology, pain management, and diagnostic imaging.

Architectural precast concrete was utilized in the construction of the Pavilion, providing both aesthetic appeal and structural resilience. Precast concrete not only enhances the building's visual presence but also contributes to its durability and ability to withstand the coastal environment. The use of precast concrete slabs also promotes more efficient erection times and minimal intrusion to the surrounding communities. With a variety of textures and finishes, this project is another testament to the practicality and design versatility of precast concrete.

Located at 440 East Bay Drive.
