Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Regional Travel and Relationship Building:

  • Travel within the Midwest region to build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
  • Identify key decision-makers and influencers in the construction industry and precast sector.

Sales Expansion and Customer Base Growth:

  • Develop and implement strategies to expand our customer base, driving sales growth in the region.
  • Proactively seek out new business opportunities and partnerships within the precast industry.

Industry Knowledge and Expertise:

  • Utilize a proven record of sales success to win jobs.
  • Knowledgeable in the practices, processes, and products in the precast industry.

HubSpot Utilization:

  • Effectively use HubSpot to manage and track leads, sales activities, and client interactions.
  • Leverage HubSpot’s capabilities to streamline communication and collaboration within the sales team.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the sales team to identify bid opportunities and contribute to the overall success of the Preconstruction Department.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Proven track record of sales success.
  • Knowledge of precast industry practices and processes.
  • Previous experience with general contractors, architecture firms, or industry vendors is a plus.

Self-motivated, high-achieving, curious, and competitive individual.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel regionally within the Midwest.

  • Participates in accurate project estimates and bid proposals, including detailed project takeoffs,

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum (3) years of Construction Management experience, preferably in precast, prestress concrete construction.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Demonstrates excellent computer skills, requiring in-depth knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Must understand Construction Safety Requirements and Compliance, and be a Safety Advocate for Bethlehem Construction, Inc.
  • Excellent communication skills with various parties including Management, Subcontractors, Consultants, Engineers, Architects, Vendors, and Clients.
  • Candidate must be well-spoken, professional, and polite. In addition, the successful candidate must be a good listener.
  • Must be self-motivated with a positive attitude, and willing to work as part of a team.
  • Must be a proactively engaged member of the team that looks at all aspects of design and construction, to ensure that all phases of the project go smoothly.
  • Must have an aptitude to learn new skills, and a willingness to manage change in self and organization.
  • Must have a keen sense of attention to detail.
  • Must be willing and able to implement directions quickly and correctly.
