Coreslab Structures (OKLA) Inc. is in immediate need of a Project Engineer. The Project Engineer will be involved in all design aspects of precast concrete structures and components. Projects will include a full range of structural and architectural pre-stressed / pre-cast concrete products used in the construction of buildings, parking garages, stadiums, storm shelters, and other structures. Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Have a thorough knowledge of the sales proposal, estimate, specifications, contract documents and all correspondence for the specific project.
  • In conjunction with the Drafting Supervisor, develop and engineering schedule to satisfy the primary target dates as previously established. Monitor and update the schedule as changes occur and report these changes to the Drafting Supervisor and/or Project Manager.
  • Design the precast/prestress components and connections prior to and preferably two weeks before the target submittal date.
  • Ensure that all products conform to production, transportation and erection department standards and practices and applicable codes.
  • Reviewing erection and production drawings for compliance with design requirements and applicable codes.
  • Develop and maintain connection and hardware standards.
  • Provide support to Production, Shipping, and Erection Departments.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned or directed.

The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for pre/post pour inspection operations and documentation, stressing calculations, overseeing stressing operations and documentation, participating in plant audit and inspections, performing concrete testing, and final QC on loads being delivered, on a daily basis.

  • Conduct in-process inspections, document results and variances from plans
  • Perform pre-pour bed inspections

Coreslab Structures (OKLA) Inc. is in immediate need of a Project Drafter. We are seeking an AutoCad and 3D Modeler to join the Drafting department. This position requires that the modeler be experienced in creating detailed 3D models that are utilized in the design, manufacture, and erection of precast concrete structures. The modeler is responsible for coordinating the collection of data and incorporating this information into the drawings while working under the direct supervision of the Drafting Supervisor.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Have a thorough knowledge of the sales proposal, estimate, specifications, contract documents, precast/prestress design calculations and all correspondence for the specific project.
  • Laying out of drawings consistent with Coreslab Structures standard details and practices.
  • The Project Drafter should meet with the Drafting Supervisor before initiating a project to determine the method and sequence of drawing preparation applicable to the specific project.
  • Developing a drafting schedule designed to satisfy the primary target dates previously agreed upon with the Drafting Supervisor. Monitor and update the schedule as changes occur and report to the Drafting Supervisor. Maintain a drafting status report given to the Drafting Supervisor weekly.
  • Performing all drafting functions, including erection drawings, sections, connection details, hardware details, production drawings, material lists, and others as may be required to complete the project. Ensure that these drawings and lists are complete, correct and conform to production, transportation and erection department standards and practices.
  • Coordinating and reviewing the work assigned to other drafters on the project.
  • Providing preliminary hardware details and quantities as early as possible. Issue final material lists when erection drawings are approved.
  • Prepare all submittal packages and transmittal letters.
  • Verify the validity of comments made by approver on drawings returned from submittal.
  • Verify checker comments, changes and corrections.
  • Assist the Drafting Supervisor in training new Drafters and improving the skills of junior drafters.
  • Develop DRFI’s (Drafting Requests for Information) and assist the Project Manager with CCM’s (Construction Coordination).
  • Maintain CAD file system.
  • Preparing clear and accurate erection drawings.
  • Preparing clear and accurate section and connection details.

The Design Engineer is an entry-level position where associates are heavily supervised and are expected to learn and assist with all engineering design aspects of a project.  Once trained, associates in this position will be responsible for their own design projects and may check the work of others. 

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Design all parking deck, building, and wall products, and associated connections

This position is responsible for the promotion and sale of precast/prestressed concrete products through direct customer contact. The success of CTC's Marketing Department relies heavily on the ability of the Sales Engineer to independently promote the use of CTC’s products and to assist with product optimization, budgeting, estimating, and bidding processes. Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Under the supervision of the Director of Marketing, initiates action to develop potential new business for the Company. Receives and follows up on leads generated through personal contacts, telephone inquiries, news items, and trade publications.
  • Develops and maintains relationships within the construction industry to promote products.
  • Prepares written or oral responses to project development inquiries, including preliminary product recommendations and cost estimates.
