2021 Architect's Day at The Precast Show

Attention architects! This is for you! To recognize the invaluable role you play in the building industry, the PCI Gulf South chapter in conjunction with the annual PCI Convention, has created a half-day event geared specifically to showcase the role precast concrete plays in the design process.
Industry experts will discuss in depth precast concrete's benefits and advantages, along with its versatility, and durability. Topics ranging from thin brick to total precast structures are on the agenda, along with multiple case studies. This in-person event will also be offered in a virtual format and include a low-stress walking tour of several award-winning precast structures in New Orleans.

PRESENTERS

Scott Robinson - Midwest Director of Architectural Sales - Gate Precast

Scott has 25 years of experience in the construction industry working with General Contractors. He began his career with Gate Precast in 2000 as an estimator and has served as a regional manager for the last 18 years. As a full-time precast technical consultant, he works with the design team and contractors to ensure cost-effective best practices are used in precast design.


Chris Gibbs - Director of Marketing - Tindall Corporation
Chris joined Tindall in 2019 as Business Development Manager for the Georgia Division, where he was responsible for pursuing business opportunities and identifying potential partners. As Director of Marketing, Chris plans and administers all marketing efforts across Tindall. His early career focused on architectural and commercial building material sales. He has a background in sales management, working with Architectural Polymers, Forterra and Hanson Brick. Chris graduated from the Atlanta College of Art, later absorbed by Savannah College of Art and Design, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.

Vince Altese - Technical Sales - Tindall Corporation
Vince Altese joined Tindall as Technical Sales Representative in 2014 and he manages the Louisiana sales territory. He works closely with clients by assisting them through every stage of the precast concrete construction process from design to erection. With more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry, there is no part of the business he has not touched. Vince graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree.

Bob Pool - Executive Vice President - Alfred Miller Companies
Bob graduated with a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin and has 35 years experience in the industrial construction industry. His working knowledge of design, experience in construction, and forward-thinking vision has allowed him to position Alfred Miller Companies as a leading design/build contractor and precast concrete manufacturer for the industrial construction industry.

Randy Wilson - Director - Architectural Precast Systems
After graduating with an Architectural Degree from Oklahoma State University, Randy began his precast career in cost accounting and estimating at Thomas Concrete (now Coreslab Structures, OKLA) and spent 13 years in sales at Concrete Technology, Inc. (now High Concrete) covering northern Ohio and western Pennsylvania. Randy then spent five years as the National Sales Manager for Thin Brick at METROBRICK followed by seven years as owner of Select Thin Brick. In 2020, Randy was hired by PCI as the Director, Architectural Precast Systems and is responsible for promoting and educating the design community on the architectural advantages of precast concrete.
