Webinar: Precast Concrete Storm Shelters
We will introduce the basic requirements of a FEMA 361 Storm Shelter.  Information will also be discussed looking at the unique problem that tornadic and cyclonic weather systems pose for structures. Precast concrete, as a material and as a system, will be presented including particular applications of precast concrete systems used to resolve spatial needs while meeting the requirements for FEMA Storm Shelters. Practical applications of precast concrete FEMA 361 buildings will be presented.

Presenter: Dave Robertson
Vice President – Sales for Prestressed Casting Co. in Springfield, Missouri

Dave began his career with Prestressed Casting Co. and has continued to work for Prestressed Casting Co. for 32 years.  In that time he has served both on the design side of the company as a Project Coordinator and Drafting Manager and on the project development side as a Technical Advisor, Estimator, and currently serves as Sales Manager.  Dave has extensive experience in the application of FEMA 361 and ICC500 requirements to commercial precast structures, and has been involved in the development of over 150 FEMA projects during his career.
