The SCDOT-PCI Joint Committee is a committee made up of South Carolina DOT (Bridge Design/Pre-Construction, Materials & Research, Bridge Construction, Bridge Maintenance) and Georgia/Carolinas PCI Bridge Committee (transportation product precast/prestressed concrete fabricators). Meetings are often attended by representatives of FHWA SC District and state research universities (University of South Carolina and Clemson University). The primary purpose of the Committee is to discuss DOT bridge related projects, concerns, details, research and industry solutions. The Committee typically meets twice a year.
