Virtual Meeting Protocols

  1. Please mute your line when you are not speaking.
  2. Your staff liaison will take roll on the council/committee voting members. Voting members are asked to edit their name as shown on the screen to add a 1 before their name, to identify them as voting members. Use the three dots (…) in the upper right corner of your name box to make this change.
  3. Your staff liaison will read the names of those who registered for the meeting.
  4. Voting members are asked to use the chat function to speak or ask questions. To keep the best order, please wait to be acknowledged by the Chair before speaking.
  5. Guests are asked to use the chat function if they have a question or comment. A designated PCI staff member will monitor and alert the Chair that a guest wishes to speak. Please wait until the Chair recognizes you before speaking.
  6. For Council/Committee votes, we will do voice votes instead of a roll call each time. However, if you are a Nay or Abstention, please state your name so we can record that the vote was not unanimous. We will give everyone a few seconds to unmute their line before voting.
