PCI Website

The newly redesigned PCI Web site is planned for launch spring. The website will feature a fresh and intuitive feel as well as significantly simplified navigation tools.

Designed and scripted to deliver a user-defined experience, the site features content organized and presented for two targeted audiences: the Architect and the Engineer. If the Architect chooses the Architectural resource section from the home page he/she will be presented with a different look and feel of material tailored more to their areas of interest. The same applies for the Engineer. (Plus, the site is designed to be able to accommodate other users as we see fit to add them.)

 

PCI E-Mail Communications

The use of blast e-mails continues to increase and become a major part of our marketing and member communications initiatives. It has been an integral part of our convention promotion, as well as a way to communicate the latest programs and news to our members.

Our eTrends newsletter continues to be successful. The electronic newsletter circulates to the entire registry of Designer’s Knowledge Bank users roughly every 2 months. These registered users currently number 18,000. With each transmission, approximately 55% of the recipients open their message. This is a strong showing of the interest in PCI news and activities, as well as the effectiveness of our e-marketing efforts.

When our new website comes on-line, we anticipate a significant increase in registration activity and in the base circulation and reach of our eTrends communications program. (Registrants are, of course, always given an opt-out option.)
