Certified Company Auditor (CCA)



**NOTE: CCA Courses are not planned for 2010**


Candidates for CCA must:
  1. Be a current Certified Field Auditor (CFA);*
  2. Be qualified for certification;
  3. Attend a PCI-conducted CCA training school;
  4. Pass written CCA examinations;
  5. Uphold professional standards appropriate to the CCA Program;
  6. Have two years of acceptable experience in the supervision (foreman or above) of the erection of precast concrete or equivalent experience approved by the chair of the Field Certification Committee.


* A CFA school immediately precedes this school.

Purpose of the CCA Training Programs:
  1. The concepts of quality and quality assurance;
  2. The importance of field quality control;
  3. The role of the Certified Company Auditor;
  4. The defined body of knowledge;
  5. The importance of an effective safety plan;
  6. The components of a safety plan;
  7. How to conduct a Company Quality Audit;
  8. The PCI Field Certification Program and its requirements and benefits;
  9. Encourage the exchange of ideas, problems, and solutions among students;
  10. Attain certification (for qualified CCA candidates only).


The CCA training class is packed with activity: networking opportunities, student-instructor interaction, and certification examinations. Students will receive copies of the Erector's Manual, MNL-127, and the Erection Safety Manual for Precast and Prestressed Concrete, MNL-132, plus class notes and extensive reference material.
